eStore Suite - new ecommerce saas platform

Good e-commerce systems which are easy to use and navigate are difficult to come across. Even more difficult to find is a company committed to growing and improving their systems so that they promote your business on the internet properly. That's why saas is so valuable because when done right, constant upgrades to features and performance become the norm.

Now, marry that with a robust hosting platform and you have the formula foundation for an excellent e-commerce platform. eStore Suite is placed in a Tier-1 hosting environment with oodles of bandwidth and great operational support. Not that the average person might understand how to shop this but it is the start of any solid internet initiative.

What I love about eStore Suite is that it produces search engine friendly content & pages while making it easy for the owner to use and integrate with internet essentials such as analytics, affiliate programs, coupon marketing and so much more.

On top of that, the programmers have added productivity features such as SMS text messaging when orders are received so you, as the website owner know when to work on processing an order. This is a far cry from making it an onus of the owner to keep checking the system for potential orders they need to work on.

Not only is relieving the owner of this responsibility a great stress reducer but in the Ultimate Edition of eStore Suite, the owner can manage the product returns and visitors can track their purchases too or add comments after the purchase has been completed. Thinking through the entire process of selling & processing, people realize that they need to consider the impact on their business of servicing this sales channel.

On Managing Project Activities

Over the years, teaching & managing things have become more important. But, only in recent years, have I realized the value of planning to others.

Today, I sent a customer their first project gantt chart. When I submitted my reports, there was a feeling that my tasks were an accomplishment. The planning, booking meetings, and the timing of the schedule now all have a value attached because of these summary reports.

For this customer, they want to see, feel & touch accomplishments. The documentation while not the final product is a measure of the activity of project and the management of it. I've never really felt the need to measure this activity but certainly these physical objects enforce the concept that real work has been completed.

Especially in the internet world, where a website is abstract enough for people to understand much less the process of creating an effective one.

In this account, this should help our project significantly. At least, this is the hope.
